The Easter Holidays are just around the corner, the days are starting to lengthen and we’re looking forward to catching up with family or friends. At long last, we’re starting to see positive developments in travel where Covid is concerned. The UK Government is now relaxing some of the travel rules from 4am February 11, 2022. In news which has been released today, the Government plan to end all Covid restrictions shortly after 21 February, 2022, a month earlier than originally thought.
While you’re planning your travel arrangements, keep an eye on the Rapid Health Test website and social pages so that you can easily order the tests you may need.
What happens now?
We are now in ‘Plan A’ which means that facemasks are no longer mandatory in certain circumstances, we are allowed back into the Office and the Government has decided not to mandate vaccines for NHS Staff.
However, the Government is still encouraging us all to get our Boosters. This may become very important in relation to travel as some countries may define ‘Fully Vaccinated’ as having had the two original Vaccines PLUS the Booster.
